What is Dachshund Meetup?
Dachshund Meetup connects people with dachshunds — and everyone who loves them. You can find other dachshund owners near you, organise playdates, maybe even discover littermates or exchange knowledge.
Even if you don't own a dachshund yet, you're welcome: to meet people, ask questions, or simply connect with the dachshund community. In the future, there will also be space for dog sitters, trainers, experts, and dachshund-related offers.

I want a dachshund too. Where do I start?
Your best first stop is a shelter or a rescue organisation. Many wonderful dogs are looking for a new home.
If you decide on a puppy from a breeder, do thorough research and look for responsible breeding conditions. Please don't buy a dog spontaneously online or from dubious listings. A dachshund is not a product — it's a family member on four short legs.
